Penambahan Tepung Bayam Merah (Amaranthus tricolor L.) Pada Pakan Untuk Meningkatkan Kualitas Warna Ikan Koi (Cyprinus carpio L)

Karotenoid adalah suatu pigmen alami yang dapat ditemukan pada hewan, tanaman dan mikroorganisme, tetapi tidak disintesis oleh sebagian besar hewan termasuk ikan, sehingga harus ditambahkan pakan. Salah satu tumbuhan potensial sebagai sumber zat warna bayam merah (Amaranthus tricolor L). Tujuan dari penelitian ini untuk menganalisa pengaruh penambahan tepung pakan meningkatkan kualitas ikan koi (Cyprinus carpio Metode digunakan eksperimental dengan menggunakan pola Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL) terdiri atas 4 perlakuan 3 kali ulangan diperoleh total 12 unit percobaan. Perlakuan diuji konsentrasi berbeda dalam koi, : P0: 0% (kontrol), P1: 3%, P2: 6%, P3: 9%. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa (A. L) memberikan nyata terhadap kandungan karotenoid peningkatan (uji hunterlab uji potoshop), pertumbuhan berat mutlak laju spesifik, mempengaruhi nilai panjang mutlak, rasio konversi (FCR) tingkat kelangsungan hidup (SR). Penambahan 9% sebanyak 54,64 µmol/g, (L*: 69,84, a*: 20,95 b*:37,7), potoshop 11,63%, 2,21 g spesifik 0,84 %/hari.
